OUT AND ABOUT: WEEKEND IN READING

If you follow me on any of my social media you'll probably know I recently spent a weekend away from the city - and it was one of the most fun weekends I have ever had. The adventure started with my friend driving me to Reading where we stayed at a friend's house, which I must say was absolute #housegoals. We got there quite late so we just got changed into comfier clothes and watched a movie called Don't Mess With The Zohan which was so unexpectedly funny.

On Saturday morning we got up at a reasonable time (i.e. 11ish) and made some delicious brunch -avocado on toast with poached eggs. It was legit the best avocado toast I have ever had and, trust me, I have had many. After that we went to two towns nearby - Streatly and Goring - and walked around. It was so green and there was so much nature, it genuinely felt like we were hours away from noisy  and grey London! I obviously went a bit cray cray and took A LOT of pics because, you know... nature is pretty and I don't get to see much of it when in London. We also went to a really cute cafe and had some delicious cake #foodieforlife

The evening was very chilled - we went for a walk near my friend's house and then watched the football (because I obvs LOVE football) and then watched another movie (gotta take advantage of it when your bestie has a massive screen projector...).

On Sunday we didn't do much. We went to the town centre for a bit and then to a restaurant called Cosmo - where I ate waaay to much and felt sick for the rest of the day... until we baked salted caramel slutty brownies. Whoopsies. I didn't really take many pictures on Sunday because I felt quite sick so wasn't feeling my creative self... but I thought I would share some of my favourite snaps from Saturday!
