EXPLORING MALLORCA | OUT AND ABOUT

I love the sea, I find it fascinating. The infinite different shades of blue, the slow yet violent movement of the water. Maybe it's because I grew up in an island or maybe it's because I now live in this crazy massive city and whenever I see the sea I get this sense of freedom and peacefulness.

When I went back home to Mallorca about a week ago I went on a little day trip with my dad and my sister. Our final destination was this place I had never heard of called S'Estaca in the North of the island, which is a tiny beautiful town right by the sea with incredible views to the cliffs. It is not accessible by car so we had to walk for about 40 min but it was definitley worth it.

The day we went it was very windy, the giant waves crashing onto the cliffs looked stunning and it reminded me of Hawaii (even though I've actually never been to Hawaii...). We also found a gorgeous spot to have some breakfast - there was this incredible terrace with the most beautiful views I have ever seen. It beats that time I had breakfast overlooking the Pyrenees and that is saying something.

We got very lucky because even though it was ridiculously windy, it was also super sunny so everything looked extra beautiful. The whole town was pretty much empty since it's not peak season yet, making the whole experience that bit more peaceful and relaxing. If you're in Mallorca or are planning on going soon, you should definitley visit this place!
